Mind Move Therapy provides a confidential, non-judgmental space for clients to be heard and understood.

People often come to therapy after noticing their quality of life diminished or what they want and have are not congruent. Negative thought patterns may become automatic ways of thinking, behaving and being in the world. It does not have to be so- relief and healing are possible; and balance can be restored.

Mind Move Therapy draws from a range of psychotherapies, including (briefly):

  • Somatic Psychology- focuses on the regulation of the autonomic nervous system and incorporates the physical body systems into psychological healing.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- explores the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy- emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness are explored and practiced.

  • Attachment-Based Theory examining how early attachments are related to current life ways of being.
